Flame PROjection
Flame spraying processes can be used to produce wear-resistant coatings, reshaping coatings or coatings to combat atmospheric corrosion.
The various types of spraying are usually carried out on limited surfaces.
The protection of untreated surfaces requires the realization of savings for which our adhesive tapes bring a particularly adapted solution.
GLASS CLOTH TAPES
Suitable for high temperature masking
– 8350 silicone glass cloth tape, thickness 165 mm, good abrasion resistance for high temperature sparing
– 361 3M Silicone Glass Fabric Tape, 180 mm thick, +230°C for 1 hour, tensile strength, non- staining
– P212 tape and thicker P212H/D version, better resistance to solvents and flame 180°C, UL510, class H type
– 190-7 aluminum/glass cloth complex tape, excellent abrasion resistance, very high temperature resistance +260°C to +300°C at peak, ideal for protecting parts in plasma plating operations
– 8715B silicone elastomeric glass cloth tape, non-flame propagating, particularly recommended for electric arc spraying – Its backing hardens under heat and forms an additional barrier, temperature resistance + 260°C
PTFE RIBBONS
Excellent strength, elongation and chemical resistance
– 3M 60 and P-422 tapes, temperature, chemical and solvent resistant, used for applications requiring high dielectric strength at high temperatures
– P-421 tape meets extremely high dielectric strength requirements
– 923 UL tape, single surface treated and coated with a silicone adhesive with high heat resistance, suitable for wrapping polyethylene laminator rolls
POLYIMIDE FILM TAPES
Suitable for powder coating operations
Used in powder coating operations, high temperature in wave soldering, insulation of coils, motors and capacitors
