Lamination or complexing
Adhesive converting process
Lamination, also known as adhesive bonding or complexing, is a sophisticated manufacturing process. It allows for the fusion of different materials to create a unique composite product that combines the benefits of each individual material.
Lamination processes are diverse, with constant innovations. Some examples include:
- Complexing flexible materials on one or both sides simultaneously (such as polyester, polypropylene, mylar, fabrics, flexible films, foam, etc.)
- Custom adhesive bonding on rigid sheets like plastic, cardboard, wood, or metal
- Applying adhesive to non-adhesive products
- Unwinding jumbo rolls into smaller rolls

Adhesive formatting
The laminator offers numerous possibilities for adhesive application, but also, once the materials are made adhesive, cutting them into various formats depending on the desired applications.
This process allows for the production of adhesives in the form of custom-cut sheets or rolls, on various substrates according to your exact specifications: sheet-to-sheet lamination, roll-to-format cutting, continuous adhesive application, and direct roll recovery
adhesive applications
The applications of laminated and cut adhesive products are diverse, with the primary use being for assembly and fastening. These applications span various industries, including:
▶ Point-of-Sale (POS) Industry – Securing and showcasing displays and promotional materials.
▶ Transportation Industry – Fastening interior trim and coverings, mounting moldings and exterior components, and assembling panels and body components.
▶ Construction Industry – Installing thermal and acoustic insulation materials, securing waterproof membranes and vapor barriers, and assembling prefabricated components and lightweight structures.
▶ Electronics Industry – Assembling electronic devices and components, securing batteries, screens, and printed circuit boards, and mounting telecommunications modules and elements.
