Our processes for converting and cutting industrial adhesive tapes
UNWINDING OF JUMBOS INTO LOGS
At Rubans de Normandie, we convert master rolls of adhesive tapes into logs of various sizes, ready to be cut according to your specific needs.
The goal of our manufacturing process is to ensure more precise unwinding, winding, and rewinding, thus guaranteeing uniform products.
SLITTING CUTTING
The slitting process involves cutting a log roll into custom single and double-sided adhesive tapes to the desired dimensions.
Our slitting machines are equipped with single or double blades, along with an automatic programming screen that allows the blade depth to be adjusted according to the desired width and length !
LAMINATION OR COMPLEXING AND FORMATTING
Lamination, also known as adhesivizing or complexing, is a sophisticated process that shapes multiple different materials to create a unique product with the combined benefits of the various components.
In practice: we make the material you provide, or one suggested by us, adhesive !
ROTARY DIE CUTTING
We have several production machines equipped with high-speed rotary die systems.
Rotary die cutting allows us to convert and cut adhesives and films into discs or other shapes, in both simple and complex formats
FLATBED DIE CUTTING
Flatbed die cutting is an efficient method for producing custom adhesive discs, ready to use, in small and medium sizes.
This technique offers remarkable versatility and can be applied to a wide range of adhesive materials.
LASER CUTTING
Laser cutting of adhesive tapes offers an innovative and efficient solution to meet the precise needs of various industries. This technology presents several significant advantages, notably delivering precise and clean cuts. It is therefore a preferred choice for cutting more complex materials.
SPOOLING
The spooling process allows for the creation of a single large spool from several hundred linear meters, ready to be used directly according to your production needs.
Spooling ensures customized dimensions tailored to your specific applications, which facilitates usage, reduces material waste, and improves inventory management.
PRINTED TAPES AND ADHESIVE LABELS
Identification and communication are made easier through specific prints such as logos, messages, or instructions.
Standard prints include FRAGILE – SECURITY TAPE – DO NOT DEPALLETIZE – HEAVY PACKAGE.
We also offer custom-printed tapes, as well as adhesive labels.
